A combination of 8 traditional Thai herbs are tightly bound in fabric and heated in an herbal steamer. The warm bundles are then pressed over the body as part of the massage, releasing aromatic, anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties. This relaxing yet invigorating knee to toe treatment opens and reactivates energy channels connected to points on the feet. I will apply a plai (similar to ginger) balm and use a variety of palm movements, stretches, thumb pressure and a special wooden stick for specific acupressure to stimulate organ reflex points.
This treatment serves to improve circulation, reduce stress, improve sleep, accelerate cleansing and to increase related joint flexibility. It is performed on clean feet propped up on a stool as you sit back and enjoy!
